Meet our volunteer Todd Hooks. He moved to Florida from Virginia in 2000 with his wife, two daughters, and two dogs. Not long after, their family grew by 22 puppies! Todd’s journey has taken him through many paths. He taught school for two years, transitioned into the software industry, and later worked as a Project Manager in mental health for four years. Now retired, he was searching for his next adventure. That’s when he found The Sharing Center, where he first lent a hand in the Distribution Center, then found his rhythm at The Pantry, where he now serves every Friday. Todd calls it a “major blessing.” It’s where he’s rediscovered his purpose, surrounded by people who care just as deeply as he does.
