Meet our volunteer Nick Mullins. After retiring from a long career as an Insurance Manager in 2023, Nick was ready for a new chapter—one rooted in giving back. He joined The Sharing Center in January 2025 and quickly found joy in serving at The Pantry and helping with Food Drops, calling it his “happy place.”

Nick’s story is one of curiosity and compassion. A 1991 graduate of the University of Louisville, he’s called Lake Mary home for over 30 years, raising his family there. His adventures have taken him far—he’s traveled to more than 46 countries and completed marathons in Chicago, New York, and even Disney. But it’s his heart for service and the big smile he brings each week that make him such a valued part of our volunteer family.
