Melissa Robinson and Basil began volunteering with The Sharing Center in 2020, serving in our Distribution Center by helping hang clothing. From the start, they brought kindness, consistency, and a shared love of service.

Basil is a registered Pet Therapy Dog who loves volunteering alongside Melissa. Together, they also serve the community at AdventHealth in Altamonte Springs, the VA Clinic in Lake Nona, and regularly visit the Lake Mary Senior Center. In addition, they volunteer with Meals on Wheels one day each week, extending their compassion even further.

Melissa also serves in another meaningful role close to her heart. For more than six years, she has volunteered as a NICU Cuddler at AdventHealth, providing comfort and care to newborns in need. While Basil doesn’t get to join her for this role, the impact of that service is just as powerful.

We are grateful to see Melissa and Basil monthly as they continue to serve our mission at The Sharing Center. We are truly blessed to have them both giving their time and hearts to our community.
