At The Sharing Center, the goal goes beyond meeting basic needs. Through the Oasis Program, individuals facing homelessness and extreme hardship receive the essential resources and compassionate support they need to regain stability, dignity, and a sense of hope for the future.

Located in the heart of Seminole County, The Oasis is the only drop-in resource center in the region dedicated to serving individuals and families experiencing homelessness or on the verge of it. Whether someone is living in a camp, in their car, or on the streets, The Oasis offers a safe place to begin the journey toward healing and stability.

What The Oasis offers

Every service provided at The Oasis is designed to restore dignity and make daily survival a little easier for those experiencing homelessness. Guests can come in and receive:

• Warm showers
• Nourishing meals (and on-the-go food)
• Laundry services
• Mail service and internet access
• Haircuts
• Housing navigation and supportive care

This holistic approach helps break down the barriers that make it difficult to find work, apply for housing, or access health services.

Who The Oasis serves

• Individuals living unsheltered in cars, tents, or encampments
• Families at risk of homelessness who are struggling to make ends meet

At the heart of the program is a commitment to treating every person with respect and compassion, recognizing that homelessness is not a personal failure but often the result of systemic challenges.

The Oasis is open Monday through Friday, from 8:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m.

Services are available on a walk-in basis; no appointment is necessary.

Located on The Sharing Center’s campus, The Oasis offers a safe and welcoming environment, staffed by people who genuinely care.
