Thank you to The Ryan Foundation, Inc. for believing in our mission and supporting families as they navigate out of poverty.
Our Families in Crisis Program works to reduce homelessness and provides the tools and support necessary for financially insecure families to achieve and retain stability. Financial assistance, with limited restrictions and individualized goal plans, allow families on the verge of homelessness to tackle their specific barriers without judgment.
The Ryan Foundation sees the importance of our mission to prevent hardships, hunger and homelessness. The Sharing Center is a recipient of a generous $20,000 grant dedicated to the Families in Crisis program. This funding will help up to 40 Seminole County families through immediate financial assistance to help remove the looming threat of homelessness.
The Ryan Foundation is a critical part of providing a gateway for low-income families to receive other comprehensive services on our campus including mental health counseling, healthcare, tax preparation services, employment assistance, fresh clothing, and other essential services. As a result, Seminole County is a stronger, healthier, and more productive community.
