With each passing day, millions go without a hot meal or the essential resources to endure another day. The burdens those experiencing hunger and homelessness face multiply when unprecedented hardships like a global pandemic, stagnant wages, or a hurricane push families and individuals further away from stability.
As a community, we have come together to support our neighbors who need it most, however, there is still more work to do. When we rise together, we are able to spread awareness for the critical issue that is hunger and homelessness.
In honor of Hunger and Homelessness Awareness Week, The Sharing Center has prepared varying activities to shine a light on this topic from November 12th to November 20th.
