Good Samaritan Week

Ways You Can #beagoodsamaritan

Mayor Matt Morgan of Longwood proclaimed April 19 – April 25, 2020 as Good Samaritan Week to highlight the unprecedented kindness our community has shown for our neighbors in need who have been impacted by the Coronavirus pandemic. Throughout the week, we will help you express and share the spirit of a good Samaritan. During these trying times of crisis, it is important we all continue to support one another and help those who are vulnerable to hunger and homelessness. Every single one of us has felt some level of effects from this crisis and we anticipate this could last months for some families; especially those who were already struggling before the unexpected loss of a job, school cancellations, or reduce access to essential resources.

To help you celebrate this special week, we’ve come up with a few ideas to help you show to #beagoodsamaritan. Of course, these are not all of the ways and would love to see how you choose to commemorate Good Samaritan Week.
