Finding meaningful employment isn’t always easy—especially for those who are unemployed, underemployed, or navigating challenging circumstances. That’s why The Sharing Center created ProjectRISE, a comprehensive five-week workforce development program designed to equip individuals with the tools they need to secure stable jobs and achieve economic independence.

 

How ProjectRISE works

Over the course of five weeks, participants engage in a powerful blend of classroom instruction, professional development, and hands-on experiences tailored to their individual goals and objectives.

  • Weeks 1–4: Participants focus on emotional intelligence, critical soft skills, workplace readiness, and job acquisition strategies.
  • Week 5: Participants engage in mock interviews with real employers, receive personalized feedback, and explore pathways through trade and educational resources.

Each participant is also paired with a success coach who helps create a customized plan for their career journey and provides ongoing guidance throughout the program.
