Kathy Anderson has been a dedicated volunteer at The Sharing Center since 2002, after being referred by a neighbor. She began her time in the thrift store, sorting hangers and organizing clothing, and quickly became a consistent and valued part of the team.

Before coming to The Sharing Center, Kathy volunteered at the Winter Park White Elephant thrift shop. When it closed, a friend encouraged her to continue volunteering, which led her here. Since then, she has never looked back.

Kathy now spends three days each week supporting the mission, a commitment that reflects just how important this work is to her. She is also a member of St. Richard’s Episcopal Church in Winter Park, where she has inspired others to donate their time and serve alongside her on weekends.

For Kathy, volunteering is more than a routine. It is a passion and a purpose she has remained faithful to for over 20 years.
