From James and Linda:
I wanted to say a little bit about why James and I volunteer with the Sharing Center. We give our time volunteering because our mission field is not a faraway place, but right here in our area. The needs seem insurmountable when viewed from a world view, but when we get right down to it, every hour or every dollar donated is a gift and has incredible value. We may not be able to volunteer every day of the week. We may seem to some people to be “a drop in the bucket”, but we believe that when added to other people’s “drop in the bucket”, we can fill the bucket to overflowing and pour out wonderful blessings to those in need! There is no way to put a price on a soul, nor a price on a belly filled with food, clean clothes on a back, a roof over a head, a counselor’s help, a job, a little dignity, or the peace felt by someone who has received some or all of these services. Our volunteer time and money at the Sharing Center are worth the sacrifice, and we will not let our “drop in the bucket” be missing when that bucket needs to overflow!
We love volunteering with you all and thank God and you for the opportunity.
Thanks,
Linda and James Clifton
