Volunteer Spotlight: Patty

Meet our volunteer Patty Johnson, who worked 23 years as a Medical Assistant for Dr. Ben Newman. Before retiring, she and her husband were introduced to the center with a group, shortly after that, she retired. So that’s when the journey began for her and him until COVID hit. He stopped and she continued for her; this was a Joy seeing him because a week ago he passed away. And she says this is where she needs to be, for this is a great help. This caring atmosphere is the best thing for her: giving back to others and receiving care and love here.
