We are blessed to have Lynn as one of our client services volunteers. She looks forward to coming in each Wednesday, helping and assisting clients when they come in for service. She enjoys welcoming, talking to them, and making them feel better about their circumstances and their self-esteem. Lynn appreciates that each day starts with prayer, broadcast throughout the Sharing Center from the Client Services Department.

Lynn enjoys the special Thanksgiving, Christmas, and Easter food bags we distribute to our client families, and blessing families with shoe cards for Christmas, Easter and Back to School for their children.

Lynn has met and made good friends through her service. She likes to travel and has recently visited Acadia Park in Maine, as well as National Parks in the West. Lynn also loves to shop at our Boutique and Thrift Stores, because they are so organized and it’s easy to find items for everyday and even special occasions.

She also volunteers by picking up beautifully crocheted afghans, baby hats, booties, and neck pillows from a senior citizen group and delivers them to Healthy Start, local hospitals, and retirement homes.

Lynn encourages her neighbors to drop donations for The Sharing Center off to her home. She brings the donations on her volunteer day, and takes receipts back to her neighbors. We thank you, Lynn, for your service and spirit.
