We have a variety of volunteer opportunities, from sorting donations and serving our clients to event planning and data entry.  Our volunteers are at the heart of all we do.

We offer "lunch and learn" tours on the 2nd Friday of each month.

Please be our lunch guest or schedule a tour or presentation for your group.

There are many ways to help your neighbors in Seminole County with donations of food,  clothing, furniture, cash and more. It all makes a difference!

Our mission is to provide essential resources to those in need while ensuring dignity, reflecting Christian generosity, and sharing God's love.

For me serving compassionately and helping to restore dignity to those who have a damaged self-esteem is just the way of life.  Compassion and dignity are two words I use a lot and they form the cornerstone for how The Christian Sharing Center is run. Each of the almost 200,000 families we've served have been touched by the spirit of service which permeates the ministry.  Shoppers in our thrift store remark that the atmosphere in the store is friendly and upbeat.  Homeless individuals leave feeling restored by the services in our Oasis and the working poor are made to feel whole again when they receive food for their families or financial assistance to keep a roof over their head.

I have been blessed with the opportunity to work with so many selfless individuals who have dedicated their careers to serving others and so many volunteers who give willingly of their time, talents and treasure.

The Sharing Center has established a place and a reputation in this community.  We did it with God’s help and yours and for the next thirty we will continue to embrace the vision of a better community for all by serving with COMPASSION and helping to restore DIGNITY to those who come to us.

Thirty years can pass quickly when you are passionate about what you are doing.  I still vividly remember that first day when I opened the door to a vision of what was possible even though the small rundown facility only contained an old desk, some bags of used clothing and one metal shelf with canned goods.
